Summary

4。5 stars。 A great start to a series with beautiful art。 I loved that we saw the perspective of a character that would have been seen as a villain in a traditional story like this。 This story has potential and I am excited to see where it goes。 I did wish there was more nuance about themes in her previous life （that were a bit glossed over how traumatic certain events were）。 Overall I am anticipating this series。

Alrighty！ I'm completed reading season one （Chapters 1-46）。 I found it refreshing to see how the MC female lead， Aristia， was actually part of the world the story takes place in and her 'role' is snatched by an outsider （a girl from another world）。 It was like watching Trashta and Sovieshu all over again at the start。 The Ice Queen female lead was honestly enduring so much and it broke my heart to see how she was just slowly pushed to death by everyone。 A prophecy proclaimed that she was the pri Alrighty！ I'm completed reading season one （Chapters 1-46）。 I found it refreshing to see how the MC female lead， Aristia， was actually part of the world the story takes place in and her 'role' is snatched by an outsider （a girl from another world）。 It was like watching Trashta and Sovieshu all over again at the start。 The Ice Queen female lead was honestly enduring so much and it broke my heart to see how she was just slowly pushed to death by everyone。 A prophecy proclaimed that she was the prince's partner yet when the time came she was easily replaced as a mere queen （one who did all the work for the Empress; the outsider was a whiny brat）。 Misunderstandings kept happening and honestly it was really the prince being a complete dirtbag to Aristia for no reason that built up to her losing everything。。。 In her second life， she becomes closer to her family and friends and even meets new people。 I can tell she has PTSD whenever the crown prince is around but he doesn't know what kind of trash he was towards her in the future。 So seeing his confusion as to why she fears him is nice to see。 On another note， I really like Carsein！ He's straightforward and honest。 He's the type to really give his all for those he values。 The other kid Allendis。。。 I don't know。 I have mixed feelings about him。 He's very obsessive and it doesn't look at all healthy。 All in all， I like the father-daughter relationship most！ They have sweet moments and it warms my heart to see how much they care for each other。 The two are getting along better than the first life and it makes me so happy to see her have more memories of her father together。 The season finale was fitting， to say the least。 I was already wary of that kid so it was bound to happen sooner or later！ 。。。more

I found the beginning of this series quite enjoyable， especially volumes 1 and 2。 I enjoy seeing the father/daughter relationship。 And I enjoyed seeing the main character form friendships with certain characters and seeing romantic chemistry between them。 As the series goes on though， it takes a disappointing turn。 The ending is opposite of what I thought the story would offer us - in a bad way。

4。5 I finished until the latest update online which is at chapter 144 and although it's not completely finished yet with the conclusion， but atleast the main conflicts have been dealt with。 I had some issues with this manhwa because the problems at the end seemed to have been dealt with in a convenient way and it felt sort of rushed 。 However， I will commend the manhwa for its representation when overcoming mental health issues。 This was set in a fantasy world but the story about how Aristia dea 4。5 I finished until the latest update online which is at chapter 144 and although it's not completely finished yet with the conclusion， but atleast the main conflicts have been dealt with。 I had some issues with this manhwa because the problems at the end seemed to have been dealt with in a convenient way and it felt sort of rushed 。 However， I will commend the manhwa for its representation when overcoming mental health issues。 This was set in a fantasy world but the story about how Aristia dealt with PTSD with her memories from her past life， Ruve dealing with childhood trauma and insecurity， Marquis Keirean overcoming his grief， Allendis having an obsessive disorder and so on have been satisfying。 The pacing issues may be a problem for other readers but I appreciated how the author took their recoveries slowly from Tia freezing and fainting whenever she sees Ruve in the second timeline and eventually learning to open up to him and forming a new relationship along with the doubts she still holds for the future。 Though I am completely fine with Tia ending up with Ruve as the endgame， my heart completely goes out to Carsein。 Seriously， what's not to love with the guy？ He can be loud and rude but he is a cinnamon roll deep down and he'd do anything for someone he loves even if it takes losing his vision in both eyes or leaving behind his ducal house because he doesn't care for politics。 - SLIGHT SPOILERS FOR THE LATER VOLUMES -Lastly， there is one thing I'd like to discuss and that is the wholesome scene when Tia broke down in front of Ruve after seeing how Princia came to visit with a baby and every wall Tia has built just comes crumbling down and her insecurities start surfacing again because she thought she was infertile and she fears that if Ruve does choose her， he won't ever smile as warmly if she couldn't give him an heir but after he sees her， he takes her in an embrace and tells her that it's okay if she doesn't bear him children and that Ruve is willing to give away the title to someone that's not related to him by blood。 THIS RIGHT HERE made me ship Ruve and Tia together。 In a kingdom where bloodlines and power are important， he tells her that he will still choose her because he sees her as a partner that's not meant to just produce babies and for someone who grew up without love， to think that he's capable of showing this much affection to Tia is very heartwarming and I appreciated this scene so much。 Overall， this was a manhwa that made me feel giddy and made me believe that people are still capable of giving and receiving love despite their past experiences。 Will probably be one of my faves and I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a good Isekai manhwa。 。。。more
